Debbie, 1.) What surgery did you have? Lap RNY 2.) When was your surgery? April 2004 3.) What doctor and state? Durham, NC 4.) Do you still have diabetes? Yes, always will, Type 1 for 24 years, use insulin pump 5.) Is it better if not gone completely? With a lot of work with the dietician, my sugars are finally better but it took 2 years of work.
