Topic: Dr. Afram/Buras? Support mtgs?

I am pre-op, hopefully in the approval process. Met with Drs. Afram & Buras of GW Hospital in DC last week. I am going to support meetings starting this thrusday at 5:30. Anyone else from here going to be there? (And please be a single man if possible....)

Hey Gang, Miss Carolyn called me this morning and said to please telll EVERYONE how much she appreciated the prayers, love, and concern. She is taking the list of Docs that do WLS on elderly patients to her PCP and have him refer her to one! Thanks, gang, at the very least you gave one sweet, sweet lady hope and at the most, you helped save her life!!! Ya'll are the greatest! Smoochies

This is normal after having WLS...it just a reminder that u need to try ur best to get more water/liquids in. U could've been/be dehydrated. U will also notice that ur breath will have a foul scent or a nasty taste...this is also normal. Just ur way of knowing that ur body is changing as a result to...once again, having WLS...

U'll be just fine. Just get them liquids in and take it easy. U should realy consider coming over to BAF...there is a lot of info there... nothing & no one is here as u can see... ~

Hey Tamika... The gym that I'm about to join "Bally's in Greenbelt" this one has a pool... I know that they have water classes, just don't know how they are yet. U can come over to BAF (Black American Forum) here on OH and collect some info there as well... This is mainly where all the DC/MA & VA folks are. We workout together and we also have Meet & Greets. We do a lot of stuff...come on ova. Hi Tamika, I have heard that that the YWCA, downtown across from the MLK Library has water aerobics. I know that the YMCA on Rhode Island Ave NW (downtown) has water aerobic classes. Check them both out and see what you can find. Oh! Results the gym (Capital Hill) has a wonderful gym with a pool, that I'm sure has water aerobic classes. Great atompshere I ad. I use to work out at Results on U street NW.
