Welcome. Being a total newbie over here myself (only came on for the first time last night), its nice to check out new posts! Is it cold there? What's good on tv this weekend? Do you like movies?

Hello. Cold? Around 30-40 this wk end. Sure wish we had anouther day like last Monday when it hit 70 but hey. Spring starts on Monday. I work till noon today and then i think i will come home and relax. A little short on $ this wk end to do much else. Next Friday is my 37th b day so i will enjoy next week end a lot with my 10 yr old daughter. John

Well let me be one of the first to wish you a very happy Spending it with your daughter sounds like a perfect celebration. I'll be 37 in July and have 2 boys that are 11 and 8. I'm sure boys are much different then girls though. And she'll spoil her Daddy with smiles at least on his bday. Hope you enjoy relaxing with the tv today. Sounds like a good way to spend a cold weekend.

Didnt anyone ever tell you that once you pass 35 that Birthday celebrations are a week long?? So you can start wooping it up and keep it going for a full seven days.. Now I turn 45 ( BIG GULP) one month from today. And my rule is that I get to start celebrating NOW.. After you are 40 the celebration is a full month. I used to hate growing another year older. Now I feel blessed and fortunate to have my life back and to be able to celebrate another birthday. I just have a feeling that this next year will be the best year of my life. I just hope that some nice man comes along and sweeps me off my feet. !!! Have a great Weekend. Hugs from your friend in Ohio Laura

Laura thank's for letting me know i was doing it wrong. Now is it you celebrate a week before the birth day or is it a week after or a combo of the both? Laura you seem like a nice lady after chatting with you a few time's. I dont know about sweeping you off your feet but i'd drive the 2 1/2 hrs or so and take you out for dinner if you ever want. John

I think you should start the party today and keep it going through next weekend. I will have to look that up in the Book of Laurisms, and find out for sure the exact Birthday rules. I have enjoyed talking to you as well. You seem like a sweetheart of a guy. Just keep in mind a dinner with me wont cost you much, and that money can be put towards gas!! LOL We might be able to find a halfway point and meet there sometime. You take care, I am getting off of here. I am tired of fighting my kitten Mr Beans who insists on sitting right in front of the screen on the computer and chasing my typing. Its a hoot to watch.. Laura, Your cat sounds like mine, mine gets on top of the monitor and swishes his tail back and forth in front of the screen. Sometimes even walks on the keyboard and gets me all sorts of weird things. Cathy
