Carnival Spirit

I was wondering if anyone has every gone on the Carnival spirit before. I am going to Hawaii in October on this boat and I wanted to hear someone's opinion on it.

I've been on the Carnival Pride and Carnival Miracle ships, and I was surprised to see how (almost) identical they are! The ships were both laid out the same (where the theater was, food areas, shopping, casino, etc.) but just had different decor.

Rebecca....that's absolutely correct as the Carnival Miracle, Pride, Spirit and Legend are sisters. The same exact layouts but different decor. Carnival has name them the Spirit class of ships. Caribbean Princess if you plan on doing any excursions I would recommend the Chain of Craters excursion in Hilo. Take your digital as the pictures will be beautiful. Some friends did Hawaii last month and raved about it. Have a great vacation. PattyP

The Carnival Spirit is a beautiful ship. I was just on it last month... took a family on a tour whose son is getting married on the Carnival Pride next month. They were impressed, especially since they had never been on a Carnival ship before. They are avid Cruisers who have sailed on Princess, Holland America, NCL, Celebrity and RCCL, but never looked into Carnival because of it's "fun ship" image, think it was for younger crowds. Carnival had really changed their image over the past 10 years and really have a following of multi-generational cruisers. You will like it! Darrin (A Travel Agent, and fellow cruise buff)

ditto what the other posters have said. the spirit class ships are great. the layout is easy to negotiate, not too big, just right. i sailed it to alaska in 2003 and the sister ship miracle to western carib in 2005, loved both voyages, i'm sure you'll have a wonderful cruise.

I see you guys are interested in cruising so I thought I would be a good idea to tell you about a cruise I am planning. It is NOV 1 2015

My name is Diane I had my Surgery Dec 18, 2013 at Humber Hospital in Toronto ON Canada, I am down 113 pounds and I feel amazing. Best thing I ever did for myself.

 

So while I was on another website someone asked the group if there was any WLS cruises. The thread was very long and everyone seem to be very interested in doing a trip together so I took it upon myself and called up a travel agent and that is how the 1st ever WLS FALL 2015 CRUISE came to life. Just so you know I paid for my trip just like everyone else.
