I am looking for input on the best cruises from all of you cruise lovers out there. My husband purchased a cruise package from Carnival but we will not be able to take our cruise until next year sometime. In the mean time I am looking for reviews. Also, are there any cruises that are better as far as night life and spa treatments? Next year my husband will be deployed so me and the girlfriends are going to take a cruise. We are trying to escape the kids and do adult oriented activities. Music, dancing, drinking, massages, pampering. You get the idea. Stephanie

Carnival definately has alot to offer. I used to work for them and did several crusies. There is so much to do but you can have fun doing absolutely nothing. Great service! Great Food.....excursions to satisfy any taste. Pay gratuities in advanced and save lots!!!! FUN! FUN! FUN! You just can't go wrong.. have a great time!!! Deborah

Check out cruisecritics.com for reviews on all the cruise companies, ships, and ports of call. They have a great forum board on the site with suggestions and ideas and talk with other folks who will be on the same cruise as you. Cruise Critics even have meet and greet parties organized once you are on board so you can catch up with those you have been corresponding with.

Stephanie, The best cruise I have been on so far is to Bermuda. There is this one cove called, Horseshoe Bay. The sand on the beach is PINK and has a fine powdery grain to it. You step in the sand and feet just melt down into the beach with each outgoing wave. I went to Bermuda last year and is planning to return in May of this year. Kim

HI, The best Cruise Line without a doubt is Royal Caribbean. I've been on 5 other cruise lines and Royal Caribbean maked me feel the most welcome. They went above and beyond thir duty to make sure my husband had everything that we needed. Don't do Carnival. The experiences I had on them was. I went on an excursion in Ochos Rios, Jamaica with my husband and about 100 or so others. We went to Dunn's River Falls, the water is gross. It's muddy and not clear. As we were walking up the falls with the tour guide, I lost my balance and slipped on the rocks and landed a few hundred feet away in the ocean. No one at the falls had any medical experience or medical anything. I got back to the ship, went to the Purser's office and told them what happened. They said it serves me right, someone being as fat as me shouldn't have been doing it and that if I wanted to see the doctor I had to pay out of pocked. I had travel insurance. They said that it will not be able to be used. At this point I was so pissed off that I started yelling that everyone could hear me. Sone big wig from the ship came over and asked what happened. I told him and that I wanted to see the ship's doctor. He said I couldn't because it was my fault that I fell and that the doctor was busy. So as you can tell, it was the cruiseline from Hell. Since that fateful voyage i've done Royal Caribbean once a year and I get treated like a Queen. That's my opinion. Others will say differently. Whichever one you go on have fun. Don't get off at Ochos Rios if you go there. It's filthy dirty and nothing to do. Lisa J

Hi, I have done 4 Carnival cruisies and I must say I have never done a cruise that I did not like. Carnival is the home of the "Fun Ship" and fun is what they specialize in. They usually have a lot geared toward the 20-40 age group, but I thought each time that it was a wonderful set-up. I will be cruising on Royal Caribbean Sovereign of the Seas in December. I heard that they are great and a little more classy in presentation since they cater to a little bit older age group. I am only 41 and expect to have just as much fun, since I heard RCC is loaded with fun too. So obvious you can't go wrong with either. Therefore enjoy! JennyB

ANY DAY AT SEA IS BETTER THAN A DAY AT WORK!!! I have cruised on Carnival, Norwegian, and Celebrity many times. Each line has different ammenities. I have never had a bad experience on any of them. Most of the time, I book my own shore excursions online. Any questions, feel free to ask! Judy

Hi Stephanie, I've cruised on 2 different cruise lines and both were out of Port Canaveral, which like you, is close to where I live. (Saw your post for the cruise in Hawaii, lucky you!). My first cruise was Nov 2001 just after 9/11 on RCCL Soverign of the Seas. Absolutely loved it, the staff was wonderful even to a large person. The rooms were small but very clean and comfortable. The next year, in Dec 02, went on Carnival's Fantasy. Rooms were larger and staff just a friendly, but I didn't enjoy it as much as RCCL. Both of these cruises were Bahamas for 4 days. Prices were excellent for both. I use bestpricecruises.com to book my cruises usually and they are the cheapest I've found. I research on other sites as the search engines are better on them, but book on bestpricecruises.com for the cheapest way to go. Last Jan. 2005, went on E Carribean cruise with RCCL Mariner of the Seas...it was fabulous! The room overlooked the pormenade and had a window seat in it. The staff was wonderful as usual and the ship is a newer ship so it was really nice. The artwork had a theme on each deck and you could spend hours just going to each one. The spa was wonderful and so was the gym. Again, the staff was outstanding to someone who was large (hadn't had surgery yet). Both the trainers treated me with respect and made great suggestions for what was best for someone my size (elliptical trainer less strenuous on the knees, etc.). They even made sure I started out slow (less then a minute the first time) so as not to get discouraged. My preference is RCCL, but I will cruise on any line to see how they are. Matter of fact, next year I'll be cruising NCL Pride of Aloha with my parents in Feb 07 for their 50th anniversary. I've already booked. I used Expedia.com for this one though as they had a special to upgrade several categories and at a really good price. The total for the cruise will be $840.21 for a Superior Interior cabin. I just love shopping for cruises. For the price, cruising is the only way to go as far as I'm concerned. It is really the only vacation I enjoy taking as you always feel pampered beyond belief! Hope this helps and sorry its so long. Good luck in finding the right cruise for you and your girlfriends! And hope you enjoy the cruise on Pride of aloha with OH. Take Care, Lori 293/216.5/135

Hi Everyone

I see you guys are interested in cruising so I thought I would be a good idea to tell you about a cruise I am planning. It is NOV 1 2015

My name is Diane I had my Surgery Dec 18, 2013 at Humber Hospital in Toronto ON Canada, I am down 113 pounds and I feel amazing. Best thing I ever did for myself.

So while I was on another website someone asked the group if there was any WLS cruises. The thread was very long and everyone seem to be very interested in doing a trip together so I took it upon myself and called up a travel agent and that is how the 1st ever WLS FALL 2015 CRUISE came to life. Just so you know I paid for my trip just like everyone else.

This cruise for us and the people who love us. If you are interested please feel free to join the group.
