I learned on my last cruise you can still have fun without it being focused around food!

So true!! I went on my first cruise last November and was surprised by how much food is around you. But there is so much to do on the ship and while you are in port besides eat! Was even more surprised when I got home and went for my weigh in appointment and had LOST weight! I really enjoyed my cruise and we are planning another one at the end of the year again!

I am looking forward to my first cruise post op. I have been on over 10 cruises and as my weight increased, I found my fun decreased. I started to really feel self conscious and tired easily. I love cruising and can't wait for a surg date.

I've been on 4 cruises and focused on food everytime. I can't wait to go after WLS and enjoy myself without bursting at the seems.

I have 3 cruises planned. In 3 days to Alaska, but I am not having my surgery until after that cruise. Then I have one planned in Dec which will be 4 mos post op for me. I am alittle bit nervous if I will feel well enough to have fun on this cruise. Then I have another one planned for Mar 2005. I will be 7 mos post op for that one and hopefully will be feeling fine for that one. Anyone have any experience about how to eat on a cruise. I am very concerned.
