Topic: RE: hi does anyone do smocking?
just saw this.  I did a lot of smocking when my daughter was small.  She now is grown, maried and has a child of her own.  I can do smocking from simple to fancy even the beaded versions.  I've never done it to sell.  It was hard enough to keep up with my demanding daughter and some of my relatives.

I know I am addicted!  I've been a SU demonstrator for almost 6 years now with no hopes of letting it go!  I can't imagine!  I Love to teach women how to create with rubberstamps.  It's a real passion.  If I can ever help anyone with ideas let me know I love to share.

Hi Lisa, Happy New Year!

I'm also a huge scrapbooker and card maker.   I used to be a SU demonstrator, but retired about a year ago so I could focus on some other things in my life.  I am now starting to scrapbook my WLS journey, and still cleaning up from making all my Christmas cards.

Have a great day!

Topic: Lighted bottles

I used LED Xmas lites to place into liquor or other bottles for decorative appeal. I have a large clear vase with 60 mutli colored lites, and a etched brandy bottle on my fireplace mantle in my front room.  http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm299/ragdolldude/vase.jp g shows one of them. I find it relaxing to work on these. These LED lights run cool, lose a lot less electricity than standard mini lights.  I've made about 30 of these in the past year, and suprisingly I've not broken one bottle when drilling a hole for the electrical cord. I just ordered some remote outlets from a shopping channel. It has a master remote, that controls 4 different electrical outlets. This will make it convenient to turn off lights without fumbling behind furniture to find inline switch or unplugging extension cords. DAVE

Topic: Scrapbooking and card making

I got into scrapbooking when my son was only 7 months old, and I've been addicted ever since!  My son will be 5 in February and he has poosed for more poictures then I can count.  I started dabbling in stamps and cardmaking and now I spend more time making cards then scrappin' memories.

Topic: RE: Quilting Anyone?
I have a machine just sitting here that my Husband bought me.  I am brand new to sewing and quilting.  I don't know where to begin.  My machine is a Bernina.  There is a local shop here that has classes and lessons.  That is where I got my machine.  I feel stupid since I am such a beginner.
Are there any books that you would recommend for a beginner?

A bad day Quilting is better than a good day at work.
Besides Quilting has no calories no fat no icky taste.

But in the mean time, here's a link with some trash to crafts you can check out that I have used also.
