I am a novice quilter.  I too had a machine  and didn;t know what to do so I took the class at my local store to learn.  It was the best thing!  I recommend it if you want to learn quick!

Hi Debi,

It is nice to meet you.  I always love to see other quilters work.  I really wish I had more time or I guess would make more time to quilt.  I like to quilt with friends but my friend I used to quilt with moved, so I haven't done anything in a while.

I'm on Facebook.  You can find me by putting my name in Debbie Thomas Yohman.  I'm also a member of Quilting Around The World.  They are a great group of ladies.

I hope to talk to you soon.

Hi... I grew up watching my grandmother  making soap and started doing it myself about 5 years ago.  My family loves all natural homemade soap... we haven't brought any of that fake stuff since I started.

I have been quilting for about 30 years now, and have been teacing it also, I would say a book by Elenor Burns would be about the best as she really goes into detail on how to do something. Right now  I am doing a type of quilting called the otton theory, which is quilting each block first then putting it together, that way you sre not having to fight with a big quilt.
