Topic: RE: Browsers
I'm a web developer and I don't like AOL or Netscape! There is a new browser that is getting a lot of buzz in the industry. It's called FireFox. Read the review here:

I use MusicMatchJukebox. The full version of course. It has great enhancement tools and has a reasonably easy learning curve. Also, the folks at MMJ were very helpful when I did have a problem.

Debi
I got Microsoft's Plus Digital Media for Christmas and it worked like a Charm. It takes the scratches out without degrading sound quality. Good luck and I hope you enjoy you new collection.

Topic: Downloading LPs to CDs
I have over 300 LPs from the Disco era that I want to put onto CD's. Has anyone tried this yet. I think I got everything I need. Haven't tried to do it yet.
Topic: RE: Browsers
OH man, do I hate aol as a browser!!! I can't list all the problems I have with it- from sizing windows to being able to resize when in AOL and so much more! Glad to know I'm not alone!!!
(sorry for the late reply- I just found this board)

Not understanding the question....Yes AOL sucks, but what do you mean by "as a browser type that needs to be worried about while coding"?
AOL uses IE as a default browser. Although they own Netscape now, they still use IE. So when you are coding for IE you are essentially coding for AOL. I have not used AOL since 2000, so it might have changed since then. But I do know it STILL SUCKS. We were with AOL since 1995, never once got our money's worth. LOL
I know the original was posting way long ago...but just popped in today

I'm no developer but...geeeeeeeeeeez. AOL bites and so does Netscape. They are both the most dull browser type systems I have seen in my use of internet since I have been around. Yuck!! LOL.
PS: Hope this was just for fun and rhetorical...
Topic: RE: Browsers
I used to LOVE Netscape - then I started web developing professionally. Now I HATE it!! Same goes for AOL. IE is far superior to either of these browsers. IE offers a much more vivid "web world" to the surfer. It's just so much more capable a browser than the alternatives.
Topic: RE: Browsers
Well I am not a web developer, (am I?) but I do know I prefer AOL's browser for some things (midi's searches), Netscape for and IE for most other browsing purposes (graphic's). When I build a profile here on OH.com, I use IE, because it co-operates the best ;).
