Your husband left you and now HE's having surgery? The way your post reads is he left you because YOU had the WLS and now you say he's having the surgery? Hhhmmm. I can't believe ALL OF THIS happened to you due to the WLS. If your husband left you because you wanted to be healthier and look better, then it sounds to me like you didn't lose much.

I to am having complications post RNY. I had one ulcer Nov 2015. Now I just had another EGD 6/22/2016 my ulcer is coming back :( I am now on protonics 2 pills twice a day and carafax before meals and bed time. This truly sucks. I don't want to have the reversal due to ulcers so I guess I am living with ulcers and medication the rest of my life.

Hello I am new at this forum and been reading all about vsg leaks, My wife and I had surgery in Guadalajara Mex, apr 18 my wife went to the hospital 6 days after surgery, with a leak, ive seen many post of people with leaks but looks like they never follow on the posts, I would like to know what happen how did it eneded pls reply, My wife came out of hospital 3 weeks ago and today we just hot out of drs office looks like she still leakin the drainage bag show so, and need a new ct scan in 3 days Idk what alse to do, he said he want the leak to heak on his own but its been over 2 months and if that leaj stills there idk what we gonna do pls, I would like to know how everything eneded hopefully it was good tha ks.
It wouldn't hurt to ask about a swallow test. I am pre surgery and just had to have one last Fridsy. It started out feeling like maybe a popcorn curnal was stuck in the back of my throat. Then it felt irritated when I would swallow. Lots os of thick drainage problems. Found out I am having esophageal spasms and GERD due to my CPAP being to high filling my stomach with air and opening the valve letting stomach acid move up my throat. I now have a possible stricture and will have to do an endo to be sure what is going on.
Are you on a CPAP machine? Mine was too high and was pushing air into my stomach filling me full of gas. It was so bad that I was waking up throwing up from a sleeping position into my mask. This air pressure caused me to have GERD when I did not have it before CPAP.
Social security disability problems? Just curious, did ' we ' pay for your surgery? My vision is blurry, oh wait, that's a red flag in my face. Hope you are in the mend
