Hey Hun. I have been having almost the sa me problem for about 6 to 10 months now. I had my appendix out when I was 18 and my gallbladder out when I was 22. So I know it's not them. I have had every test done including x-rays CAT scans ultrasounds colonoscopies and also the scoop when they go down your throat. I've been hospitalized probably at least 10 times and I want to test the only thing that was found was inflamed intestines but the doctor said that will go away The doctor also said that maybe a factor of my pain but it wasn't the cause so I went to my doctor today and he referred me to the same surgeon that in my colonoscopies my primary care doctor is recommending exploratory surgery if the surgeon approves. So even with my fear of surgeries I'm hoping the surgeon approves the surgery so I can find out what's wrong. The pain is really bad it's really really sharp mainly in my lower right side but I also have some pain in my left side and shoots clear across my stomach is really feels like somebody stabbing. All I know is I'm tired of being hospitalized and I'm tired of dealing with this pain because it is honestly in human pain. So if you follow me will reply I don't really know how the site works I will let you know what the surgeon says on Tuesday and I will also let you know what the outcome of the surgery is if he improves I wish you the best of luck
Either you need to pay cash to have it removed or need a new job with insurance that will cover that. HUGS..

I've just passed my five year mark. I've gone from 333 to 113. My current bmi is 16.2. I have not kept down solid food or had a day without vomiting in over four years. About three months after my rny, I started getting sick. My surgeon scoped me and discovered I had a gastrojujenal stricture. In the past few years I have had 9 EGD procedures to scope, stretch or cauterize this structure to no avail. I have now been lead to believe this is just all my fault. I'm at the end of my rope... I'm sick, tired, depressed, lost my job, lost my most important relationship, oat friends, become an alcoholic... I've been diagnosed with hypoestrogenism as my body has no fat to store hormones anymore and am going through premature menopause and can no longer consider ever having kids at the age of 36. I've attempted suicide twice in the past two years. Finally I've gotten my FNP to listen to me that SOMETHING IS WRONG. she has offered to be my advocate as I search for a surgeon or GI or ANYONE that can help me... Has anyone in the Raleigh/Durham area gone through a reversal or revision? I will not go back to my original surgeon at UNC, as I'm sick of being treated like it's my fault. Before I started cold calling random doctors, I thought I'd check with you guys first. I cannot live in this hell any longer, I'd rather be fat.
Thanks.
I have had also complications from bariatric surgery (in 2006) and surgeons in Titusville and Melbourne all referred me to Dr. Eduardo Parra-Davila and Dr. Keith Kim in Celebration, FL. Dr. Parra just recently performed my abdominal wall reconstruction and I am thrilled with the results.

I was in the hospital last week for an internal hernia. I went to the local hospital where my primary dr is located, the hospital admitted me and did a ct scan. The ct scan said I had an internal hernia, my primary and a general surgeon thought it was best to wait and it would be fine. That wasn't the case. I waited 4 days hooked up to an iv and no food(i wasn't hungry anyways) On the 4th day they did another ct scan and it said the same thing. The general surgeon told me that if he did the surgery it would be an exploritory surgery and i would have a huge scar, I told him to just fixed me. A couple of hours went by and the surgeon came back and told me he talked to a local bariatric dr and asked if it was ok to send me over there. Within an hour I was transported over to the bariatric hospital. I met Dr. French, he explained to me what was going on and what he was going to do, he was very nice and knew what he was doing. Within an hour of being at the bariatric hospital I was in surgery. I am still recovering and in a lot of pain. I go for my follow up on Wednesday.

I, too, had been very steady at 166. Over the summer I lost 20lbs. The Drs explain it away as being more active over the summer as my blood work is normal. I think there is something more to it but I'm not medically trained. I also had a scope done.
Wish I had an explanation for you!
