Hey Mario, thanks for the heads up. Hopefully I will start getting some answers from my Doctor's, at least we are finally going to do the Calcium Stimulation test and he would like to put me in patient to test me during an episode. I was giving up so this could not have come at a better time.

I never imagine that so many people have nesidioblastosis..
I make a lot of research about GLP-1 Wich give you the neogenesis of the b-cell in your pancrea..
for now.. what I know.. is.. if you still have your small pouch and you still have little dumping and fast emptying.. you will be ok for the regeneration of your b-cell..
the problem.. if that can be a problem it's the other part of your body that can affect.. brain liver renal etc...
GLP-1 is what give you the nesidioblastosis.
they suggest to do the 2/3 pancreatectomy on me too

The symptoms I experience when my sugar is falling are as follows: lightheaded, confused, headache, shaking/trembling, confusion, and disorientation.
I have researched until I thought my eyes would bleed, I have a whole packet I give to each new Doctor listing all the test results including labs, previous Doctor's contact info, a timeline of symptoms starting at the surgery date, copies of the abstracts regarding the limited number of research that has been done and a letter begging for help.
I wish you the best of luck and sadly the only advice I have is that you stay persistant, don't accept "I don't know what's causing this" as an acceptable answer, and continue to post because I truly believe the only way some of us will ever get help is through networking between ourselves. Hi, I'm just over 4 years post-op and have severe post-prandial hypoglycemia (after eating). I've seen 8 Endocrinologists have had a zillion labs (all of which come back Perfect), we've tried Acarbose to slow the carbs from absorbing, had nuclear scans, MRI's, Upper GI's, none of which have explained the problem. I was getting warning and I'm lucky that I have a service dog that could alert when my sugar was falling. However, I have now been bottoming out without warning and falling a great deal, due to this I am no longer allowed to drive. Topic: RE: Chronic Fatigue or Fibromyalgia AFTER WLS
Vanessa,
I'm not a doctor, but I do have fibromyalgia. I'm pre-op for DS.
Different things work for different people with fibro. I know where you're coming from regarding the energy drain.
There is a prescription drug that's just been approved to treat the pain..it's called Lyrica. Muscle relaxants might help, too.
Perhaps your doctor can prescribe warm water exercise for you. That helped me tremendously. You have to be careful, though. Being in the water has a way of minimizing the stress you feel on your muscles, and overdoing it can put you to bed for a while. My doctor also prescribes Provigil .

Did they shorten his common channel ? ( move the connection further down ? ) also - Is he getting a lot of GAS ?? You might want to ask your Dr about getting some Flagyl for a couple weeks. he most likely will not have C- Diff But the Flagyl will help ...
Its common to have the stinky loose stools - will last a couple weeks , also stay away from processed carbs and try to add natural fiber to the eating plan - it acts like a sponge and will help his stools ..
