The good news is that I finally feel normal. I still have pain on my left side and take pain meds fairly often. I know for me an adhesion led from one things to another. Was your adhesion causing a problem in the intestines
I know that I have had a lot of surgeries and each time I would try to bounce back, similar to after my original RNY and it never went that well. I have to say that it was usually like 4-5 weeks before I felt "normal" and my life could pick back up!

P.S. My year + long absence has NOTHING to do with my WLS, or my type of WLS. See my profile.

I am scared that I am breaking down a suture line or something. I do take a lot of medications due to some other medical conditions and I have always viewed it as risk vs benefit...well, I am wondering if it is payment time.
I also was experiencing lower back pains and severe abdominal pains. went into the ER and they said i had diverticulitis. 2 mos later went back into the ER for the same symptoms after another CAT scan with dye they said it could be that my fallopian tubes and ovaries were inflamed. then i went to see an a specialist and said it wasn't. Now i have to get a colonoscopy done. I have lost 74 lbs and is happy to have lost the weight, but i don't know what's going on. My advice is to listen to your body. if you are having sever back pains and abdominal cramping go and get checked.
Good luck and hope you feel better.Lani
I just had surgerey 3 weeks ago today because I had adhesions...I still feel lousy, have no energy, and am now way underweight. Not to mention the fact that I am still in a lot of pain. Any advise???? PLEASE!
Love always and forever,

Do you see the glass as half empty or half full? I say, what difference does it make--I paid for a full glass,so either way I am getting jipped!!!
Does anyone know or can tell me anyhting about any of this?
I have the lapband and know how all that works but I don't know anything about the bypass and it has me really worried about her.
Thanks, Lori
