I need some advise about my mom who had surgery about 3 years ago. She has had horrible stomache pains from 6 months out and her Dr. was USELESS!!!! to say the least!!! She has had several test done and nothing ever changed. About 2 weeks ago she started vomiting blood, had blood in her stool, and has bad pains under her right side. They have already staited that her GB was fine. They did and upper GI and a lower Gi and they found an ulcer but it does not explain the pain in her side. Has anyone ever had this? Pain in right side, nausea, blood at both ends???? If so, what was it? Could it be her "old stomache" thanks Lynn

Please go to another doctor. I don't know if you are close to Louisville, but there are several bariatric doctors there. The blood is something you need to check our pronto!

Hi Lynn Check out the Michigan board. I posted some info on there that may help. I am finding many with this problem. If you go back a couple of pages you can get the whole story. I have 3 posts about this on the michigan board. My name is toni reese. If you have any question please feel free to email me. I don't know a lot but I do know that I am not the only one going thru this. I am pretty sure it is either in my small intestines or my old stomach. Watch the michigan board and I will keep everyone posted on what is going on. Good luck to your mom. God Bless----Toni

Number one, go to a new physician. Even if it means traveling. Number two, check into superior mesenatric artery syndrome. Good luck, Mary
