Since the surgery, I'm more sensitive to cold - always have to wear a warm-up jacket. Also, no one mentioned to me about kidney stones -- i get them every 3-4 months. Any way to stop them? Thanks, Nancy

OH, Yes!!! I just came back from my doctor and asked him about it because I wasn't sure what was going on. Well, what I was told was that my fat acted as insulation and because I have been losing it, this is going to happen. The winter cold air doesn't help. He did say after some months it will go away, but it will take some time. Joyful 1

Pretty much everyone I know that has had the surgery has this problem. I am over 2 years out and I'm still always cold. I went through our Texas summer here the last 2 years without every wearing shorts! We went on vacation to Florida in June and I swam once and wore shorts once because I'm so cold. I find that dressing in layers and always having a jacket or blanket with me in the car helps. I can't go in any restaurant without my blanket!LOL! Of course I also get the kind of dumping syndome after every meal, so hot flashes ensue and the clothes start coming off! Hope this helps. Melissa in Texas
