Anyone still emotional from complications? 10 mo out

I had my surgery 10/20/04 and still am very emotional when I am asked about "how it went". I am a nurse and I have to work with patients who have physicians that won't control their pain and it causes me pain just remembering the pain I went through after surgery. The recovery room nurse "forgot" to hook the pain pump tubing to me. It ran on the floor for 2 1/2 hours. Yes, I am still emotional. Sometimes it's crying..then other times it is anger for what I had to endure needlessly. Good luck and know that you are not alone out there. Your can email me anytime...
