Has anyone had a problem with any of these. A few nights ago I began having a sharp pain in my lower belly. The MD said she thought it was adhessions and or scar tissue and gave me some muscle relaxants. they helped let me sleep but the pain was still there in the AM. At that time I was pooping OK sort of but not really constipated. Yesturday the constipation was increasing and today well forget it. MY MD said to take MOM am and pm. I really do not want to go the the ER this weekend or at all. ANY SUGGESTIONS.

Hi Charlene Surgery July 24, 2000 I had bowel obstruction almost a year ago and I'll tell you it was no joke. I started getting the pain running all through my lower stomach, back and that was the worse pain ever. I went to Montefiore they made me wait and I walked out, I went to the Bronx Va, they took x-rays said it was gas gave me some pain killers and sent me home. When I got home the pain got worse a ambulance had to be called I was taken to Bronx Lebanon Hospital, and throughly examed. They was gonna do surgery. I told them I had a Gastric Bypass and my doctor name is Dr. Elliot Goodman and he was at Montefiore Hospital. They called Dr. goodman, I was transported to Montefiore and I was throwing up my bowels everywhere. A tube had to be inserted in my nose to suck out and unravels my intestines. I stayed in the hospital for 5 days. Complications do happen

Oh that was the worse. It was so painful to have that placed in. I was throwing up, bleeding, crying all over the place. I was grasping my surgeons hand/arm begging him to stop. I think I called him a few naughty names as well. What a nightmare.
