What are symptoms of pouch leak?

I have leak paranoia. What are the symptoms of a pouch leak? Thanks.

Hi Jackie, My symptoms were a sharp pain under my diaphram that radiated to my left shoulder. I had this pain the entire time that my leak was ongoing....in fact I could tell that the leak had healed by noticing that I no longer had the pain or the shoulder aches. I also developed a high fever and felt like crap......and this came on very suddenly after having the sharp pains. I hope that this helps.....and I pray that all is fine with u! Dawn

Thanks. I'm feeling pretty good except for back pain. I don't know whether it's from laying in the bed and the chair or from something else. I'm only 5 ft 1 in. so the bed and chair were uncomfortable for me. I hope that's what it is. Thanks. jackie b

Watch for a fever. I still had my drain in place when we saw the leak so I was lucky and started treating it quick.
