I am 7 1/2 years post-op and don't know it this has anything to do with my surgery. For the past 4 weeks, I have been having chest pains, my heart doing flip-flops, left arm feeling kinda numb when this happens. My pulse is 120 when resting. This does not happen all the time. I have been to my regular doctor and he thinks it just arthritis and sent me to my arthritis doctor. She gave me steriods but it has not stopped the pain. I have had a heart monitor on for 24 hrs. but that was 2 weeks ago and have not heard nothing. The papitations were happening during that 24 hr. period. I am at my wits end on this. I need some advice.

I hope mine does go away. I just called the doctor and left him a message. If he does not call, then I must assume he doesn't care. Luckly my husband is going to see his cardio doctor today and I gave him a detailed list of my condition and symptoms. Hopefully, I will have answers today.

I need to find a new doctor. No call at all. Not even to say the results are back or not. My husband gave a list of symptoms to his cardio doctor but it's up to my primary to do something. I am tired of playing a waiting game with my life. If anyone knows of a doctor in the Richmond, Virginia area who cares. Please post it here in the reply section. Thank You

Lorraine, Call your Dr. three times a day till he gives you the results of your test. Tell whoever answers that you want the results. Tell her it has been two weeks and you are still having symptoms and need the results ASAP! In the meantime get Thee to another DR! Go to the ER if you are having such symptoms. It is certainly better to be safe than sorry. Good Luck and keep us posted. Linda
