Anyone else have bandfailue issues??

I was just wondering if anyone else out there has been banded, and having complications such as no restriction issues and or band failure? I was banded in July 04 and have never had restriction, had my port replaced in May 05, and am still in band failure. Looking to have a total re-do of the banding with a new band some time soon with luck. shaz

Have you ever had an adjustment? If you have no restriction, it tells me you need a fill. That may be the whole problem right there. No restriction is not a complication, it is an indication of needing an adjustment. -Paula-

THe band was in failure and would not hold any fill at all. Test proved that the band was no good from the start. I was rebanded and now I cross my fingers that this new band will be fine. ~shaz~

have you had your 2nd banding yet? i'm not a sue happy person,but... i would recomend an wls attourny check your storie. that dr. has no wright to treat any patient so cold. i hope you are having better luck noe.best wishes. v.g.

I have just arrived home from my re-banding surgery. It took 3 hours and I am slowing recovering. It was very complicated to say the least. I now cross my fingers that this band works. As far as an attorney, I have one... ~shaz~
