Is not losing well a complication?
If I'm in the wrong place then I'm sorry I was told to come here. I am almost 6mo out and haven't lost 50lbs even. It feels like food goes right through me, and then I can feel a lump on my left side under my rib cage sorta. Theres not a full feeling hardly. Except there. I do most everything I'm suppose to except the excersize as much as I should. I was 253 surgery day and am now 207-210 depending. Also 5ft. Lightweight or not most of the lightweights I see or read about lose just as fast as the heavier people so I'm not beliving that anymore. Anyone got any ideas??
Marti
WEll I'm sorry to hear. I am around your weight and I am pre-op but just be positive. I guess 50 lbs permantly .....is better than nothing but I know what you mean. You kind of feel like dang.... I didn't do a life threatening surgery for 50 lbs.
Are you seeing a dietitian (SP). I don't know if they would have any ideas.
Hi Marti, I just love your profile. I love that song too. I lost slow to.
I want to tell you i lost more inches then weight. I am 13 months out and i have lost 100 pounds. I gain 2-5 pounds and then lose thoses pounds. Then gain and lose. I was in size 22 and now in size 3-4. I would bot lose a oz but try on a pair of jeans exp.... size 8 and thay would fit. 2 weeks before that I was in a size 10. So, Keep an eye on your inches. Good luck, Debra
I am in the same boat. I am 5'9" and started at 290 day of surgery 2/05 and have lost 50lbs but haven't lost any weight in the last two months. I exercise 5-6 times a week but find I can eat as much as I want. I am experiencing distention of my abdomen terrible gas and pain on my right side but they have ruled out a hernia or gallbladder issues. I feel lumps on both my left and right side under my rib cage.
Feel free to contact me and if I figure anything out I will share it with you.
