PRE-OP Cold?

I woke up this morning feeling like **** my WLS is dec 23rd could it be changed because of my cold? What should I do??

The pre-op nurse told me that if your airway is compromised in any way, or you have an infection, they will not do surgery. I wasn't feeling so good and started using Zicam. It really helped and I was able to have surgery on the 14th. You also might call you family doctor to see if he/she could help you out any. Good luck.

if you are coughing at all please postpond your surgery till your are better. I just posted my story. Please read it. I really don't want it happening to anyone else. Good Luck and God Bless Martha

Hey Martha Thaks for the advice and you to Amy! I Got A ZPAC on Sat and will be done with it on Wed. My voice will more then likely be back at 100% on tuesday. it is at 95 % now. HOME SWEET HOME!! I am Home (WLS on the 23rd came home evening of 24th) and doing well. Uncomforatable but ok. One question, when i burp sometimes it is really uncomfortable, is that normal?? Thanks! Nova
