DS Complication?

Has anyone had any problems with the DS procedure? What kind of problems are you experiencing?

Hey Gus, I had the Open DS in July of this year. At my 6-month checkup my doctor verified that I have a hernia on my incision line. Other than that, my journey has been a good one. I have lost 140 pounds since 7/6, my sleep apnea is better, my blood pressure is normal, my cholesterol is normal, my blood sugar is normal, and my edema is subsiding. Before surgery I could not walk 2 blocks. Now I am walking over 5 miles a day. Other than the hernia (which could happen with ANY of the open surgeries), it has been worth the effort.
