What Does A Leak Feel Like?

Hi, Sorry about the stupid question, but I'm a month post-op, and all is well, except... I have been experiencing pain in different areas of my belly. Sometimes it comes from the left or the right, sometimes its where my incision is, other times it feels like it radiates from one side to another. The pain feels like a slight *****ing, but sometimes it feels like it... burns. Not a lot, not bad, but just a slight tinge, then it goes away. I have to say that when I eat it goes away, but it comes back. I also have soreness at the top of my incision, but its on the inside not the outside. I wouldn't be so worried about this, except there seems to be bump that is larger than anything along the rest of the incision. Am I imagining this, and it's just my body shrinking/readjusting after the surgery? No, this doesn't affect my eating, I have no fever, and I'm drinking liquids - though probably not enough. I know, I know, talk with my doctor. I just wanted to see if anyone has experienced anything like this only to find.... Johanna

I had similiar pain after my WLS but my doctor told me it was related to the muscles trying to heal. I don't know what leaking symptoms are but I heard that it could be nausea etc. I am now 4 1/2 mons post op and rarely feel any pain around my incision - I try to baby it as much as possible.
