any 5yrs or longer vets of rny or lap band surgery?

While waiting on insurance approval i would like to know if there is anyone out there who has had the rny or lap band surgery 5yrs or longer, if so what if any or the complications you are experiencing that you can contribute to this surgery thank you

My best friend had surgery rny 5 yrs ago and has maintained a 140 lb weight loss . I just vacationed with her for over a week and we vacation and dine out with each other often.She has never had a problem , and now eats anything she wants in moderation.
