Pain in lower left incision

Hello all, I am about 7 weeks post op RNY Lapro 6/2, and all was well until a few days ago when i started to feel a shooting, almost burning pain in my lower left incision where the first drain was. My doc says that I may have overdid things a couple of days ago and irritated my wound and to take tylenol for the pain. My nurse said it may be scar tissue stretching. Has anyone had this type of problem before and if so, does it go away soon and is there anything i should be doing to help it. Thanks

My RNY was open 10/20/04 and I am having a burning pain to the left of my incision. The nurse says at this point just call them back if the pain gets worse or does not go away. I have doctor's appt. anyway in 2 weeks. I would call the doctors office and tell the nurse your symptoms just to be sure. I know that I have overdone things by lifting my son, dog food bags, groceries, etc. I hope that I haven't pulled something. Lisa
