Mine kept me out of work for 5-6 months. I still have it, but I take lots of meds for it. Some days it's better, and some days it's worse. Enough to make me not wanna go thru this again! Good luck to you!

Hi Patty! I hope that your doctor has been able to relieve your nausea. I am pre-op and just trying to understand the realities after the surgery. Are you able to keep food down even though you feel bad? What did your doctor do (if anything) to give you some relief? I am afraid of complications that could interfere with my ability to enjoy life after the surgery. I hope that you are feeling 100 times better! Take care! Cassandra

Hey Patty, I just recently had my fourth surgery due to complications from scar tissue, which eventually turned into having a revision bypass surgery. This definitely may not be the case with you. But suggest to your doc about having an upper GI done just to rule out any blockage. I hope this helps.
