I unfortunitaly have a leak. I am very scared. I just got home yesterday. A visiting nurse came to see me to put me on iv nutrition. I cant eat or drink anything at all until the leak goes away. I need information on leaks.

What kind of information do you want? I currently have a leak at 7 months post. I also was on TPN (venous nutrition), with a PICC line in, I have a G tube in as well. I have been thru this for 7 months, if you wanna talk, let me know, or let me know what kind of information you would like. I wish you luck!

Joy -- What sort of leak do you have -- is it in your pouch, or is it incisional? I had a leak in my pouch and had a second surgery. I hope you're in constant contact with the doctor, and that you're doing better. I can tell you that you too will be a success story. I didn't know what was going to happen to me when I had the leak & went through the recovery period. But now, almost 9 months post-op, I feel terrific. I've had no further problems & I've gone from a size 22 to size 12, and I'm healthy as can be. Just keep hanging in there. I'll pray for you. You will get through this. Kathy F.
