Complications - 1 week out

I had my RNY last Monday.  Yesterday, I began getting sick to my stomach.  I was hospitalized overnight but left earlier today with everything looking fine.....just dehydrated.

Well, tonight.  I'm at it again.  I tried to drink a protein shake and once it reached my stomach, I knew it was going to be bad.  For the past hour, nothing but dry heaves.

I will call the doctor tomorrow but anyone else had this problem?  I'm miserable.

Are you able to keep down water? I had a lot of problems with milk based products after surgery. Try using a lactose free milk and see if that helps. Hope you get it figured out. Hugs
