Weird twinge around bellybutton? Gas? IBS?
I'll be 7 years post op RNY in May and its been an incredible journey. Lately I went to my PCP because I've been having recurrent episodes of constipation/diarrhea. Doc thinks I have IBS due to my symptoms (and being under a lot of stress) so he's doing tests. I have always had since having RNY, a lot of gas. Some gas I can relieve and some I cannot. Since Thursday I've had this weird crampy twinge to the left of belly button. It's not painful just noticeable enough to be annoying. But it's not constant. I did just have my period so I dismissed it as gas or cramps. Symptom checkers tell me it's appendicitis but I think I would know if its that. Lol. I think it's related to gas and IBS but not sure. Anyone else get this? I'm going back to the doc on Weds to go over blood work, so I hope I can get rid of it.

Could be appendicitis. When I had mine it was a dull ache that felt like gas, When the pain increased and nausea kicked in I went to the ER.
My doc ruled out appendicitis because my WBC was good and I have no tenderness or pain. Plus I'm eating and hungry. It's actually going away now but only a slight twinge when I bend a certain way. Muscle soreness. Go figure. Thanks for your reply though.
