Endoscopy to place PEG tube=failure

 So, I am again pondering what bad deed I did in a previous life, maybe I killed King Tut?
Procedure tanked. My stomach is fused to my liver, so they couldn't do the gtube with the EGD method, so, they put me on sched for tomorrow to surgically implant it. Kroh is going to try laparoscopic , but said he would probably have to do an open surgery so he can free up the organs.  I'm sure I'll be in a better state of mind later, right now I want to punch someone, hard. Oh, and from whatever they tried to do today, I woke up in even more terrific pain than when I started, which I took as a good sign that they were able to do it...NOT I was such a nervous wreck that my teeth were audibly chattering :(

Or maybe your current life was designedfor you to learn about pain and docs and procedures? maybe that one is an intro into the next one... when you will be on the other side... helping someone like you... and you will be able to relate?  I do believe some of the docs were real life patients in the past lifes... they can relate... They are great, full of compassion ...

Or maybe that is a test for you -- to see how much your can take? and take, and take...
Many people would turn into total "*****es"... (not saying that you may have moments like that..lol.. but on top of that - there is this remarkable woman, soul, that keeps plugging along...

I made it through the surgery, very painful, he was pretty right about how painful it would be. They were able to place the PEG tube and still do it laparoscopically. I'll post a more detailed update today. Thanks again, and I'm sure you are right...every bad experience I have makes me a better healthcare provider to my patients.

I feel the same way like I am being tested to see how much I can take but someone is pushing me way too far - It seems every week something else goes wrong and I am at my wits end - and like you said, my persoanity has changed -  I am frustrated much more quicker, very short tempered and can be a ***** sometimes - it is terrible. I used to be a very sweet quiet young lady and now I don't recognize myself. 

Just ths week, I was diagnosed with gout and found out my kidney stones are back - had 3 surgeries last year and they just keep coming back - the pain is unbearable,
