Any thoughts???
About a year ago I started having what my doctor called "delayed dumping syndrome". I would eat and about an hour or hour 1/2 later I would experience dizziness, heart racing and fuzzy thinking. We looked over my diet and took things back to basics, protein first, etc. For several months things went back to "normal???". I went on with life. Fast forward 8-9 months. During the past few days it has started to happen again. Before food may have caused the problem but now I can't be sure. This morning I hadn't eaten anything and had a Glucerna Hunger Smart shake. I saw my Endocrinologist today. She is going to do CAT Scan and MRI but wants to test Cortisol levels too. Anyone else suffering? Any ideas on what's going on?
Sounds like it is possibly reactive hypoglycemia. Try to check your bloodsugar by doing a finger stick when you are symptomatic. If you don't have a glucometer you can probably purchase one relatively cheap at Walmart. when you are feeling dizzy. fuzzy etc it is possible your blood sugar has dropped into the low range too quickly.
