Congratulations on your reversal.  Enjoy being healthy again.

Just a little advice from somebody that has been there.  When you first have it reversed, it will be easy not to go back to your old ways.  It doesn't take very long to get old habits back.  When I start to emotional eat, I remember all that I went through to lose weight.  You may not have the "tool" anymore, but let the memory of it help you in your journey.

I pray that everything gets back to normal

right now i feel like nothing will ever be allright again. I cant stand living this way I hate everything. I am angry at my self at my doctors my surgeons the insurance company the hospital my family. I hate food I hate the thought of it I hate the taste of it I hate water I just hate everything! I know I am dehydrated and I do not get enough protein.  I know I will never heal at this rate. I just can't seem to get my act together! will I ever be normal?

I feel so bad for you.  If you want, read my blog posts, I have been through a lot, and still am.  I have had my surgery reversed, and I really hope it is the answer for you.  I am at Cleveland Clinic right now, and I wish I had come here a lot sooner.  So, keep your head up, the reversal is a HUGE surgery, probably bigger than the original one, so you are going to feel bad for a while, your body is in major shock, especially if your nutritional status was in the toilet like mine when you had the reversal.  hang in there!

Did the surgeon that did your Ryn also do the reversal? And does insurance pay for the reversal? I had mine in January too and my health is worst than ever. I want mine reversed and don't want my surgeon to give me his stupid pep talk anymore....I see him in a week and want him to agree with me this time. Thanks for the info and I hope you are feeling better soon.
