I began having ulcer issues approximately 10 weeks post RNY.  I had a perforated ulcer in May 2008 with emergency surgery.  One month later, I had a revision at the anastomosis to see if cutting away the ulcerated tissue would result in no additional ulcer formation.  It didn't work.  So, after nearly 3 years of constant ulcer issues and many EGD's, along with a lot of other procedures and surgery, it was decided that I should reverse the bypass...then I got pregnant.

So, now I'm pregnant, dealing with ulcers, chronic pain and hospitalizations with blood transfusions.  I wish you the best of luck and pray that you don't end up goign through what I've gone through.
