heartburn,feel full,maybe eating to fast

I had my Band put in 12/08 and now all the sudden i have really bad heartburn.I ALWAYS HAVE HAD ALOT OF BELCHING.I RECENTLY HAD SOME FLUID TAKEN OUT AFTER THEY DID A UPPER GI.THEY SAID I HAD TO MUCH RESTRICTION.I HAVE A PROBLEM EATING ALOT OF DIFFERENT THINGS.I MAYBE EATING TO MUCH TO FAST.I REALLY AM NOT SURE WHAT I SHOULD BE EATING.MY STARTING WEIGHT WAS 248 AND AS OF TODAY I AM 165.I DO NOT WANT TO LOSE MY BAND.BUT SOMETIMES WHEN I EAT IT HURTS SO BAD I WILL MAKE MYSELF VOMIT SO I WILL HAVE RELIEF.I ALSO STARTED HAVING ACID REFLUX AT NIGHT.I WILL WAKE UP CHOKING.HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THESE PROBLEMS.

You can not eat too fast.  Little bits maybe every ten minutes of what you are eating.  Also make sure the doctor has you on reflux medicine.  My surgeon said I would be on nexium the rest of my life, but I take the generic.

I have not had that problem.  I had RYGB.  I do know of someone who has though.  The nurse practitioner at my physician's office had the band.  She had to have it changed from a band to a sleeve because she had uncontrollable heartburn.  There is a good chance that it isn't what you are eating.

I have had this problem too. I came to this site to post and saw your message. I had one fill and have had nothing but trouble since. I now have about 2.5 cc in my band (less than surgery level) and still have trouble keeping things down. I get pain after I eat and sometimes make myself thow up to releive the pain. I am now experiencing severe heartburn and choking at night.
I have been waiting to call the dr. but now that I see your post I think I have too. I have questioned if I'me eating too fast/or too much, but i think it might be too much stricture. Mine has been going on for a week. I have not taken in very much food and throw up at least once a day.
