coke -- don't drink it, but do clean the pipes
There are SO many reasons not to drink sodas, I know, but today I got to see one first-hand -- it worked Great at cleaning out my feeding tube. Yuck.
I had a stomach leak after vsg surgery, and I've been on a feeding tube since July. My nurse recommended cleaning the tube with Coca-Cola whenever the milky-thick "food" I use starts to clog the tube. Just like Drano, it got my pipes squeaky clean.
The hole seems to be closed, so hopefully I don't have many more weeks of this, but I'll never see a soft drink the same way.

Years ago my first husband and I had a roommate who was not a very great house cleaner. When I went to move out I could not get the stain out of the toilet. Yeck. One can of coke in there overnight after turning off the water and it was sparkley and white.
That being said, I do love my Coke Zero. One a day.
