Afetr all my reserch im wondering if this all relates to my rouen-y I am on narcotics just to survive which i hate!! I had to give up my job that i loved, i havehad mris,ct scans, phys therapy you name it nothing helps.... i used to be so happy now sometimes i wish i had continued to live at 300 pounds , never did i have this horrendous screaming pain. I have finally had a rheumo put me on chromagen guess he finds im defficient...any one with similar conditions i would love to heqr from you im at my wits ends

Linda,
Unfortunately I have no answers for you. I too have suffered with calf pain, but not the way you have. I have always assumed it was due to potassium deficiency, upped that, and I do get some relief.
I am 5 years post op distal RNY and now 3 weeks postop revision due to inability to stop losing weight. I hear you regarding almost wishing you were still 300 pounds. I feel the same way a lot of the time. I weigh 89 pounds now, and have no life. I cannot do anything with my kids, had to quit my job, and basically am surviving on antinausea meds and pain meds. It is definitely no fun. I feel your pain, although it is in a different way for me.
I sure hope you get some answers soon, and that maybe the rheumatologist can figure out what is going on with you. Have you been tested for RA and Lupus? I am sure you have, but just wondered. Just know you are not alone...RNY can be a blessing, but at times, can be a curse...it just sucks! I just want to be well again...is that really too much to ask? LOL
Take care, and keep me posted on what the docs find out.
