I WANT A REVERSAL!

Hello to all!  I have read a lot on this site, and others, regarding all the problems people are/did have/having.  And of course, I am starting out the way most people have.  Nausea all the time, unable to tolerate  alot of things, and definately NOT getting in the protein or water required to keep you going in a health manner!  I am only 16 days out and I want it reversed ASAP!

Is there anyone on here that has had theres reversed?  Was it the best thing you ever did?  Are there side effects and if so what are they?

Thank you for listening.

it will get better and yes it sucks!! But didnt you know it was going to be like that when you had the surgery?  It eventually gets a little bit better.  The best thing you can ever do is to stop doubting yourself and stick it out.

All I ever heard was '"You eat this for 1 week, this the 2nd week, etc."  No mention was made of how bad I would feel and that I'd be so sick I wouldn't even be able to choke down jello!
No one said "Hey, your best friend is food and you're never going to eat it again!"
You seriously don't realize how important food is until it's too late.
I'd rather die fat than feeling like I'm starving and have a horrible taste in my mouth and just the thought of Sugar Free anything makes me nauseous!

I regretted having RNY at first. I was super depressed and sick all the time. I felt like I was dying inside. I lost alot of my personality like I wasn't laughing and joking. I just wasn't myself at all but now I'm 3 1/2 mths out and couldn't be happier. And I also was nausea all the time. Are you eating to fast? I ate to fast and that made me nauseas. For the nausea I drank Apple juice and water 1/2 & 1/2 it helped alot. My doctor says it's a natural remedy for nausea. Have you tried Crystal light? That helped me get my water down. It does get better. I feel great now and don't regret it at all.

Well, I do have to admit that it is getting a little bit better as each day goes by.  However, i have a question for you.  Do you remember how long it took you to get past the depression part?  That is what is killing me right now!  When did you go back to work and what kind of work do you do?  I do wonder if not being at work is what is driving me crazy right now?  Did you get all your protein and fluids in from the beginning?  If not, how long did it take you to get all that in?

Sorry, about all the questions, but as you can see I am desperate!  LOL!

Thank you for listening,

Patience
