Hi - I'm pre-op, but researching, and apparently there is some risk of WLS patients (specifically, RNY) developing hypoglycemia after WLS.  I think this may be related to seizures, as well.  You might look up Melting Mama's page.  She has posted about it.

I thought I had a type of seizure a few months ago as well, but it turned out to be a weird type of migraine. I haven't had caffeine since surgery (April 15, 2008) except for the night before this incident. Lab work was all normal so my family doctor sent me to a neurologist, who said it wasn't a seizure but was a migraine from the caffeine I had the night before. He said migraines can do all kinds of things to people, including mimicking seizures and even putting people into a coma. Needless to say, I will NEVER have caffeine again because I was scared so badly after that incident. That may not be what happened to you, but I just wanted to share my experience in case it could be.
