revision 2 weeks ago

i had a 24 mm ulcer that pererfated and i had to have a revision im asuming they gave me a new pouch? but im wishing id had it reversed because i still cant eat or drink enough and i feel like crap every day i have no energy at all? im switching to a diff dr because my dr was very rude as i got to no him im so disapointed-has anyone had a ulcer revision surgery? or a reversal after a revision ?

I had an ulcer that caused staple line disruption but they also found a gastro gastric fistula and it was revised on 2/27. They made a new pouch and bypassed more of my intestine at the same time.

how did u change your thing to revision? we had our revision about same date how far out were u from your original surgery? i was 6 mos out before my revision-they had to give me a new pouch plus remove 4 inches of my intestines--how are you doing now? they found another start of a ulcer on my new pouch i cant believe it already!

I changed it to revision by clicking on my account, then signing in with user name and password. Under the surgery related column after you sign in, click on I've got a date and it will let you change it.  I'm doing very well, down about 22 pounds, probably more but I only weigh myself once weekly. Are you on any medications that are proton pump inhibitors like protonix for the ulcers? i was on this before my surgery but was told not to take it anymore, and am on prilose****il I finish that bottle. After that I take nothing. I was eight years postop almost to the day when I had my revision, but had regained about 30 lbs do to the ulcer.
