I have been having hairloss since about 3 mths out and Im over 8 mths out now so for about 5 mths. I had thick hair, so Im not bald YET, But its really starting to scare me. It seem like its never going to stop falling out. Any ideas of what I can do or use to make it stop? Oh and my protein level was only down 1 point so my Dr, said it shouldnt be falling out like this. Any help would be great. Thanks alot.....

Keep your protein up and it will stop.  Trust me everyone goes through it and it will stop.  I had thin hair before and was losing it for about 6 months then it stopped and started to grow back in.

I began to loose my hair at 4 months out and luckily I too had very thinck hair, so by the time the hair loss stopped, my hair was thinner. but you could not see my scalp.  When all was said and done, I had lost about half of my hair, but the hair loss did stop and now my hair, though not as thick as it was before surgery, it is still quite thick.  Which is gret for me, it used to be quite difficult to comb every day (my hair is quite curly), now I can comb much easier than I used too. Most impotantly, keep up the protein and don't stress, try some new hair styles. Monica
