Hey, Lynne! What happened with your surgery?  What did they find?  Are you OK now?

I have two sides to my brain - a right side and a left side.  The trouble is sometimes there is nothing left in the right side and nothing right in the left side.

Hello, I had very similar symptoms as you've mentioned and similar CT scan results. My dic believed I had adhesions that were causing a narrowing of my small intestines and somehow causing fluid/air/food to back-up inot my old stomach. I had surgery 2 weeks ago that was laporoscopic (thank God) though I had the same warnings prior to surgery  that the doc would likely have to open me up. The doctor did find several areas that were being twisted and choked pff b/c of adhesions, and he says he was able to remove the scarring. So far, Im recovering from my surgery, but still having the same nausea after meals and frequent bouts of abdominal pain (though the pain is subsiding more quickly now). I suspect I will facing additional surgery in the future... I wonder why they dont just remove the excluded stomach in folks like you and me who are clearly having trouble/pain because of it? Perhaps I will ask my surgeon at my upcoming post-op visit. Good luck, and I hope you begin feeling better very soon!
