Post op since July 06 .....Had complications which caused large amounts of blood clots to form in my pouch stretching it....I was in ICU for a week....I recieved 10 units of blood.... Never felt as if I had the surgury as to the quantity I could eat or drink...I lost 93 lbs and have gained most of it back....Doctor wants to do a revision....I'm not for it.... I'm concerned that my pouch could stretch to rupturing.... or become thin.... I have no since of fullness......and no food bothers me.....There is no difference before the surgury compared to now.....except a scar from the GT and mid-line incision....I am looking for people with like problems for advise..... Respectfully, Rev. TIM

Hello! Surgery is always scary business!! Why does your doctor want to do a revision? What does he intend to correct? I'm getting from the post that you lost weight but gained it back and now your doctor believes and/or has proof that there has been a mechanical failure of some kind that can be corrected in revision surgery, yes? I'm not certain what you want to know but I do not believe that your surgeon would do a revision unless there was/is a malfunction that needs to be addressed/repaired. If the mechanical failure is repaired, you should go on to lose the weight again. I hope I helped somehow? If not, you are free to send me a PM! Best, Vanessa
