it's been a month, the pain is better (I think the Nexium helped) I have not been to the surgeon because my insurance will not pay for him as of Jan 1st! I have an appointment with my gastroenterologist 1/26. The weight loss has slowed down to 10 pounds in 2 months instead of monthly...who would think I would be glad of that! You can count my ribs, even high on the front of my chest, I need toning and major plastics but I don't need to loose any more weight. I still cannot eat much and I have an aversion to chewing, I have since surgery, I just don't want "heavy" foods I need to chew a lot. Even protein bars do it. I can do liquids but not much solid foods, most soups are ok. I know I do have a small hernia and wonder if that could be part of the issue.. I also want to know if anyone has information on how or if they can check the "unused" part of the stomach, since it still produces acid, I would supose it could get an ulcer as well. Thanks all for the responses peace~pam
