I am doing great now....4 weeks post op tomorrow. I feel really good and sometimes a little pully feeling internally, probably from healing. Thanks for asking!! I am doing wonderfully and I am so glad it was just the bile duct and no adhesions or obstructions. I find though the bile free flowing has made me more constipated, so I am still trying to do the prunes and lots of fluids, but I can tell I am low on my fluids. Take care, and write anytime!! Deb

Deb, I had to have my gallbladder out 16 months post-op. It's common to have gallbladder problems after a large weight loss. Then in Nov, I had surgery again because it looked as though I had an internal hernia. I went to the ER with severe stomache pains after eating lunch. I had an intestinal blockage...bottom line - don't eat a plate full of veggies fast without chewing thoroughly. I was diagnosed with anemia 1 yr before my WLS so I get a B12 shot every month. Even though I've recently had 2 surgeries (laproscopic thank goodness) I still don't feel that I have been unfortunate. My surgeons said that once I have WLS with them I am their patient for life...and when something unusual happens I revert to them immediately. Co-morbidities I don't have anymore: asthma, sleep apnia, high blood pressure, diabetes. I'm very happy! Regards, Sue McD
