C- DIFF sent me back to hospital

I have spent a total of 19 days in the hospital from this bacteria i caught when i had my surgery, Has anyone had this? In other words it's diherria like 15 times a day. Lost lots of weight in 31 days.

Hi Melody, I had surgery for a intestinal blockage on September 8th. I was in the hospital until September 14. When I got home I couldn't stay out of the bathroom. The doctor started antibotics (sp) the diaherria continued for days on end. I awakened on September 28 with a temp of 101.6. I called the doctor office and left a message so when they got in they would call me. They did and I was readmitted on 9/28 the diaherra continued for days and days. It seem more like thirty times a day. I was in the hospital for 13 days a total of 20 days with the surgery. I am still on antibotics. I go back to the doctor on next Wednesday. Hi Splenda i am so sorry to hear that you had this complication also, I know it was bad also for me too. I prayed day end and day out. had a prayer chain for me also. I was told it can kill you if not treated right. So did you have your surgery done up north ? please let me know. Melody

Hi Melody, Yes, I had my surgery here. My chiropractor told me on yesterday to take get some good bactrica. I just pick up Kyo-Dophilus which have three good bactrica that will boost immunity. Hi there, I had Lap RNY 9/26/06, and since have been in the hospital 25 days. After the surgery, I had a bladder infection, went on antibiotics. About a week later, developed C-Diff ( going to the bathroom about 40 times a day!), led to Colitis. Still in hospital when developed excruitaing pain, that was 2 blood clots. On blood thinners now, developed thrush and yeast infection. Home for 1 week now, not feeling weel again, diarrea has come back and I am nauseous. Going to the doc today, I am scared to death, do NOT want to go to the hospital again! Please say a prayer for me... Michelle Down 46 pounds, but not the way I intended it to happen

Hi Michelle, Whatever you do hang in there! It will get better. If the diahrea continue make sure you tell your doctor. I was so dehyrated and had nothing to fight with. They gave me vitamins in a IV after nine days I started feeling better. Try to drink your water or use crystal light on the go it help a lot. I am praying for you because I know what you are going through. The key is to hold on to God unchanging hand and know He is faithful and you will get better. Ms. Splenda 300/180/172

HI Melody, Thanks for asking about me, I appreciate it. The diarrhea is much better, but he nausea has really set in. I called my surgeon today, and he told me to go to the ER, I can not go. I am home alone with 5 kids and hubby has been working since Sunday. ( he is on call, and doesnt get off until Monday). The surgeon wont call anything in anything for me, due to all my complications, so I will just wait until Monday and hope this passes. Thanks for caring, Michelle
