Revision due to ulcer

I'm 8 months postop & have been suffering with an ulcer for 4 months. Unfortunately, mediciation has not worked. I'll be having a surgical revision in 2 weeks. Anyone else been through this?

Connie, My good friend had surgery after an ulcer had fused the smaller stomach and the larger stomach together. It resulted in several more surgeries. It was a really rough road but today she is doing really well! Good luck to you, you will be in my prayers.

how did your revision go? i have had an ulser for awhile now seems it will'not heal what is a revision and are u feeling better?

I am not having revisional surgery only surgery to remove the ever growing ulcer ( which will make my stomach the size of an olive) . Sounds like we will be having surgery around the same time. I have suffered since August with this ulcer and mine is just not healing either. I now have a PICC line in where I feed myself 12 hours a day because I throw up anything I try to eat. This surgery has me really scared.
