Having my remnant stomach removed

I have a date to have my remnant stomach removed and to have my surgery corrected due to a major bile leak that is refluxing back into my pouch. Plus my new surgeon thinks that my vagus nerve was nicked and that will have to cut and that is why I am having major nausea and reflux issues and pain. I have been sick for over two years and really happy to finally have it over and the problem corrected. Tricia

When you say remnant stomach did you have a gastrectomy?  My doctor is recommending that I have my stomach removed as it has quit contracting and food just sits there.   Please reply as I need to hear from someone whose went through this also.
