Has anyone had trouble with being in a bad mood? It seems like ever since I started losing weight I have been right down grouchy. I am not depressed just grouchy....everything gets on my nerves. I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem. I have lost 73 lbs in 4 1/2 months so you would think that I would be happy..... Thanks Christie

Hello Christie, all l can say to you is yes, l have spent many a year feeling this way, and l have a great life. What made me turn around was to listen to a gal called Joyce Meyers. She worked for me, and the 2nd part to this was (CHOICE) you choose to be in a negative bad mood, and only you can choose to make it different, by thinking differently and more positively. You have nothing to loose, but to become happy. You should be very proud of your accomplishment. If you are just plain grouchy, you need to find out what is bothring you internally and changing your internal talk to yourself. Try some of her tapes and books, l just love her and she has helped me enormously! I am so much of a happier person, and it was all a matter of CHOICE !!!!!!! Let me know if you require any further information. Thanks Sharon Cambridge Canada

Is it any wonder? You no longer have your drug of choice to soothe and lull you. I just hope that after my surgery I don't hurt anyone LOLOL

Honestly that's kind of a form of depression. It's that very attitude that sent me to my doctor for anti-depressants. Paxil worked very well for me for that. After surgery I decided foolishly to take myself off of them because I "felt fine". I was good for a little over a year, and then an overly stressful situation broke me down again, only this time all I wanted to do was cry. I've been on Welbutrin for about 2 months now and it's working very well. You might talk to your doctor about it. Feel better!
