8 Mths Post-Op: Pain At Tip Of Sternum

Any time I bend over, to tie my shoes, pick something up, or exercising I have a sharp and severe pain at the tip of my sternum, which is also the top of my open RNY incision. Anyone else with this kind of problem. Yes, I plan to discuss it with my surgeon, however, I wanted to get an idea of how common this might be. Otherwise, I have no problems post-surgically and have lost about 60% of my needed weight loss at 8 months.
